Sohini Mookherjee

Sohini Mookherjee is a Senior Capacity Building manager at CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia.

She works with the national government as well as with various state governments, civil society organisations, donors, and multilateral organisations to build a strong monitoring and evaluation ecosystem in South Asia.

Prior to joining CLEAR/J-PAL South Asia, Sohini worked with Lokniti - Center for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) in New Delhi and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Political Science at Georgia State University.

Sohini holds a PhD from the Department of Political Science at Georgia State University, where she received the Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year award. Sohini holds a Bachelor’s degree (with honors) in Political Science from Presidency College as well as a Master’s degree (First division) and an MPhil (First division) from the Center for Political Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
