gLOCAL Evaluation Week is a global monitoring and evaluation (M&E) knowledge-sharing movement convened by the Global Evaluation Initiative. The fourth edition of gLOCAL Evaluation Week will take place virtually between May 30 and June 3, 2022. 

About gLOCAL Evaluation Week 

gLOCAL Evaluation Week brings together regional, national, and international partners and serves as a synchronized, collaborative, and widely accessible inter-regional space to promote evaluation discussion and debate. 

In 2021, gLOCAL Evaluation Week had nearly 350 events organised by partners from over 200 institutions across 174 countries. In South Asia alone, events were hosted by partners such as World Food Programme, DMEO (NITI Aayog), Asian Development Bank, UNDP, and Good Business Lab, among others, drawing thousands of participants across the region.

This year’s overarching theme is ‘EvalEvolve: The evolution of M&E in the 21st century”, where we seek to explore how the field is changing to meet current realities and future needs. Learn more about this year’s theme on our website or in the concept note.

The deadline to register your interest in hosting an event is April 13, 2022.

Who can host an event?

Public, private, and academic organizations that produce, use, or promote evaluations to strengthen development programs can submit a proposal to host an event.

We welcome a wide variety of events, including: 

• Presentations
• Panel discussions
• Roundtable discussions 
• Skill-building workshops 

and more. 

You may choose to conduct these events in any language. Given the evolving nature of the Covid-19 pandemic, gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2022 will be completely virtual. 

All events must be free and open to all. 

How do I host an event?

To participate in gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2022, you simply need to register and submit your event proposal before April 13, 2022! 

Proposals will be considered on a rolling basis. Once your proposal is accepted, you will be required to promote gLOCAL Evaluation Week 2022 and your event leveraging your network, social media channels, and promotional resources provided. 

Please ensure all content and logistics are in place in order for you to host a successful event.
